 FAQ

  • Fine Line Tattoos are minimal, detailed designs created with a single needle or small needle groupings. They’re known for their precision, softness, and subtle elegance — perfect for delicate symbols, florals, lettering, or abstract linework.

  • Start by submitting your idea through the form on this page, booking an in-person consultation, or texting us directly. Include reference images, approximate size (in inches), and preferred placement. Once we review everything, we’ll reach out to confirm details and get you scheduled.

  • Pricing is based on size, design complexity, placement, and whether it’s color or black/gray. The shop minimum is $50. After reviewing your idea, we’ll give you a custom quote before booking.

  • Stay hydrated, get a good meal beforehand, and avoid alcohol, caffeine, or blood thinners, including ibuprofen or marijuana, for 24–48 hours. Come with clean skin and wear something comfortable that allows access to the area being tattooed.

  • Fine line tattoos tend to heal best on smoother, flatter areas like arms, ribs, back, ankles, or behind the ear. Hands, fingers, and feet are more prone to fading or blowout, but can still be done with proper care and touch-ups.

  • Fine lines are more delicate than bold traditional tattoos, so some softening over time is natural — especially on high-friction areas. Proper healing, sun protection, and touch-ups can help keep them looking fresh.

  • Yes! If your tattoo softens or fades over time, we offer touch-ups. Just keep in mind that not all designs need it — we’ll assess your piece and guide you based on your healing and lifestyle.

  • Fine line tattoos usually feel less intense because less trauma is being done to the skin. Pain tolerance varies, but most clients say the process is totally manageable — even relaxing for smaller designs. Some clients have even fallen asleep during their session!

  • Healing is generally smooth and gentle. Expect some light peeling, similar to a sunburn. You’ll receive full aftercare instructions — but the basics are: keep it clean, don’t pick, avoid direct sun, and let your skin do its thing.

  • Absolutely. As long as the designs are small and time allows, we can do a few in one sitting. Just mention that in your inquiry and we’ll plan accordingly.

  • Both! We offer curated flash designs that rotate often, and we’re always open to custom pieces if you have something meaningful in mind. If you’re not sure, we can help you decide.

  • Yes, please! We love when clients come with inspiration. Whether it’s your own sketch, something from Pinterest, or a vibe you’re going for, feel free to upload it with your inquiry.

  • Avoid soaking the area (no pools, baths, or saunas), intense workouts for a couple of days, sun exposure, and picking at the skin. Stick to the aftercare we provide and your piece will heal beautifully.

  • Absolutely. Fine line work can look beautiful on all skin tones. We’ll adjust the depth, spacing, and technique to make sure the design heals clearly and holds up well over time.

  • Yes, but it depends on the texture and maturity of the scar. We recommend waiting at least a year post-injury and sending a clear photo so we can assess and let you know what’s possible.
