Microblading
Value:
$450
Session Duration:
2.5-3 hours
Microblading is a popular cosmetic tattooing technique that creates realistic, hair-like strokes to enhance the natural shape and fullness of your eyebrows. This method is known for its ability to achieve natural-looking results by mimicking the natural growth pattern of eyebrow hairs. The fine strokes blend seamlessly with your existing brows, resulting in a fuller and more defined appearance, while still maintaining a soft, natural look.
Unlike Nano Brows, which use a tattoo machine, Microblading is done manually with a handheld tool that creates tiny incisions in the skin. Pigment is then deposited into these incisions, creating the appearance of individual eyebrow hairs. Microblading is a great option for clients with normal to dry skin types, as it delivers beautifully defined results for those seeking a natural, low-maintenance brow enhancement.
Microblading is highly customizable, allowing for a range of styles from soft and subtle to more defined and bold, depending on your preference. The process begins with a detailed consultation and brow mapping session to determine the perfect shape, thickness, and arch that complements your facial features. Each stroke is carefully placed to ensure a natural, dimensional effect tailored to your needs.
Ideal For: Clients who want a natural, full, and well-defined brow appearance. Best suited for clients with fuller brows and normal to dry skin types. Clients with sparse brows or oily and sensitive skin would not benefit from this service long-term. Please see our Nano, Ombré or Hybrid brow services as the alternatives.
Longevity: Microblading can last up to 2 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. A 6-8 week touch-up is included with this service to perfect the look and address any minor adjustments. If an additional touch-up is desired, it must be done 4-6 weeks after the included touch-up for an additional $100. Any touch-up beyond this point will be considered a maintenance service and charged accordingly.

PROCESS
Consultation: Your journey to perfect brows begins with an in-depth consultation, where we discuss your desired brow shape, style, and overall look. We'll assess your natural brows, skin type, and facial features to ensure the Nano technique is the best option for you.
Mapping and Design: The next step is the brow mapping process, where we meticulously measure and outline the ideal brow shape using specialized tools. This step is crucial for achieving symmetrical and balanced brows that complement your unique facial structure. We take into consideration factors such as your natural brow shape, bone structure, and facial symmetry to create a tailored design. You'll have the opportunity to review and approve the design and color before we proceed, ensuring you're completely satisfied with the planned shape and style.
Application: Once the mapping is complete and approved, we proceed with the Microblading application. Using a manual handheld tool with ultra-fine blades, we create tiny incisions in the outer layers of the skin. Pigment is then deposited into these incisions, resulting in a fuller, natural look. Microblading is a manual process, it is performed with precision to minimize skin trauma and ensure a smooth healing process.
Aftercare: Proper aftercare is essential for achieving the best results with Microblading. You'll receive detailed aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and pigment retention. This includes guidelines on how to care for your brows in the days and weeks following the procedure, such as avoiding water, sun exposure, and certain skincare products.
Touch-Up: A 6-8 week touch-up is included with this service to perfect the brows and address any minor fading or adjustments. If you feel that an additional touch-up is needed, it must be done 4-6 weeks after the included touch-up for an additional $100. Any touch-up beyond this point will be considered a maintenance service and charged accordingly.
MAINTENANCE
Due to the nature of permanent makeup gradually fading over time, it’s essential to schedule maintenance appointments to keep your Microblading looking fresh and defined. While pigment is long-lasting, it’s not truly permanent — fading occurs gradually depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and skincare products. We typically recommend booking a maintenance session every 12 to 18 months, or once your pigment has faded by 50–75%, depending on how refreshed you’d like your brows to appear.
Maintenance Pricing:
Within a year $300: A discounted rate for clients maintaining their brows within a year of their initial session.
Over 1 year $350: A slightly higher rate for clients who return after a year, ensuring the brows are refreshed and any minor fading is corrected.
If your Microblading has faded significantly beyond 2 years, a full initial session may be necessary to restore the desired look. Regular maintenance not only preserves the integrity of your brows but also prolongs the lifespan of the pigment, keeping them looking flawless throughout the years.

Permanent makeup is a beautiful investment that naturally fades over time, with the duration varying based on factors like skin type, lifestyle, and skincare routines. We provide an estimate of how long your service might last, but each individual’s experience can be different—some clients may notice fading sooner, while others may retain their results longer. Oily skin, frequent facials, the use of skincare products like retinol or acids, and activities that cause excessive sweating can accelerate the fading process. We recommend scheduling maintenance appointments only once the pigment has faded by 50-75% to ensure your look remains natural and fresh. Touching up too soon or too often can lead to oversaturation, causing the pigment to blur or create a ‘blocky’ appearance. If your brows or other PMU areas are still holding well, there's no rush to book a refresher. Allowing your permanent makeup to fade naturally helps maintain that crisp, defined look without the risk of overworking the skin. If you're unsure whether you're ready for a touch-up, feel free to reach out with photos, and we’ll guide you on the best timing for your maintenance.

FAQ
-
Yes, all clients should book a consultation to discuss preferences and goals. During this session, we'll evaluate your skin type, lifestyle, skincare routine, expectations and natural brow shape to determine the most suitable approach for you. Microblading is a specialized procedure, and not everyone is an ideal candidate. If you have previous work, a consultation is required.

Microblading is a permanent makeup technique that uses a manual handheld tool to create tiny, hair-like strokes, resulting in natural, full, and well-defined brows. The fine strokes mimic the natural growth pattern of eyebrow hairs, providing a soft and realistic enhancement.
-
Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, meaning it will gradually fade over time. Most clients can expect their Microblading results to last anywhere from 1-2 years, depending on factors such as skin type (normal, oily, dry), age, and lifestyle. Clients with oily skin or larger pores may experience faster fading due to increased oil production and skin turnover. Additionally, lifestyle factors such as frequent sun exposure, the use of skincare products containing retinoids, AHA, or Glycolic Acid, and exfoliating treatments can speed up fading by promoting faster skin regeneration. Color retention varies from person to person, and factors such as your skincare routine and environmental conditions can influence how long your Microblading lasts. Regular touch-ups are recommended to maintain the look over time.
-
Microblading is ideal for clients with normal to dry skin types who are seeking a natural, well-defined brow appearance. However, not everyone is a candidate for Microblading. Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 18 years old are not eligible for permanent makeup services. Clients with previously tattooed eyebrows may not qualify, depending on the amount of pigment or scarring present. If you’ve recently had Botox in the forehead or brow area, it's recommended to wait 3-4 weeks before scheduling your appointment. Clients using Retin-A, Accutane, or other acne medications should consult with their physician before booking, as these can impact the skin’s healing process. If you're unsure whether you’re a good candidate for Microblading, please contact me directly for a consultation before booking.

Unlike Nano Brows, which use a machine to implant pigment into the skin, Microblading uses a manual pen tool with fine blades to create hair-like incisions. Microblading is best suited for clients with normal to dry skin types, as it provides natural-looking results. While both techniques aim to mimic the natural growth pattern of eyebrow hairs, Microblading may not last as long as Nano Brows and can be more suited for those seeking a manual approach to brow enhancement.

Pain tolerance varies for each individual, so the level of discomfort during the Microblading procedure can differ. Many clients describe the sensation as similar to a light scratch or the feeling of eyebrow threading. To minimize discomfort, a high-quality topical numbing cream is applied throughout the procedure. While the first few strokes may cause mild discomfort for some, most clients rate the experience as a 2-3 on a scale of 1-10. As the numbing cream takes full effect, the procedure becomes more comfortable. Some clients may experience physical reactions like sneezing or eye watering due to the proximity to the brow area. Feel free to bring headphones or listen to music to help you relax during the process. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, don’t hesitate to ask for a break!
-
Please avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners for at least 48 hours before your appointment—yes, that means no coffee on the day of! Come prepared with makeup on if you usually wear any and reference photos, as this helps guide the design process. You're welcome to bring headphones if you prefer your own music, though I’ll have some playing in the studio to help set a relaxing atmosphere. The studio can be cold at times, so dress accordingly as we cannot provide blankets during the procedure. Be sure to follow the full precare instructions to ensure the best results!

Healing time can vary from person to person, depending on skin type and individual healing processes. Most clients will experience a fully healed brow within 10-14 days. In the first few days, it’s normal for your brows to appear darker and slightly red as they begin the healing process. This is completely expected. It’s important to avoid wearing makeup or applying any products on your brows for at least 7 days to allow proper healing. If you have upcoming events, I recommend scheduling your session well in advance to ensure your brows are fully healed.
-
The procedure typically takes around 2.5-3 hours, which includes the consultation, numbing, design, and the actual application process.
-
A touch-up is included with your service to ensure the best possible results. Sometimes, certain areas may heal lighter or patchy, which is completely normal and can depend on your skin type or how your skin retains pigment. At the included touch-up session, scheduled 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure, I’ll double-check everything to ensure your brows are healing perfectly. If everything looks flawless, you’ll be good to go! However, if any areas need a little more pigment or adjustment, we’ll take care of it during that session to achieve the perfect end result. Clients with oily skin or previous permanent makeup may require more adjustments.
An additional touch-up can be booked 4-6 weeks after the included one for $100. Anything beyond this timeframe will be considered a maintenance and charged accordingly.

Everyone’s healing process is unique, but how well you follow the aftercare instructions plays a big role in how your brows heal. If you closely follow the detailed aftercare guide you’ll receive after your Microblading procedure, you should experience minimal scabbing. It’s normal for your brows to appear darker in the first few days, but this will lighten as they heal. Avoid saunas, pools, or strenuous workouts until your brows are fully healed. Do not pick at or remove any scabs, as this can affect the final result. It’s also important not to over-moisturize with ointment—apply it lightly and gently dab the area afterward to keep your brows relatively dry.

Yes! If you have previous permanent makeup, you may still be a candidate for Microblading. However, it depends on how much your previous pigment has faded. If the previous pigment is light enough, we can often work over it to create a fresh, natural look. My priority is always to achieve natural, beautiful results, so if your old pigment is too saturated (appears more like a dark tattoo than natural skin) or has turned blue/gray or another unusual color, we may need to remove the old pigment first. In such cases, I recommend a safe removal process, like saline or laser removal, to help start fresh.
If you're unsure about whether you’re a good candidate, feel free to send me a photo of your brows, book a consultation or fill out a form and I’ll guide you through the best next steps!
